Adiantum aleuticum

Family name: Pteridaceae
Common name: western maidenhair fern
More info: The western maidenhair is one of the most graceful and beautiful of our native ferns. Bright green fronds open like the fingers of a hand perched atop contrasting wiry black stems. It grows in moist and shaded crevices in rocks, especially near falling or rushing water, where the plant benefits from constant mist.
