Echinops ritro





Family name: Asteraceae
Common name: small globe rhistle
More info: This plant can tolerate hot and human summers. It needs full sun and it is not shade tolerate. It is adopted into dry conditions. It has a spiny flower but it is really soft to touch. Leaves have spin teethed edges.
Landscape uses: It is a perennial border which needs low-maintenance. It attracts  butterflies and bees. It can tolerate fry condition. 
Flowers: blue, showy, good dried flower
Leaf: deeply lobbed, dark green foliage
