Salvia nemorosa



Family name: Lamiaceae.
Common name: woodland sage- Balkan clary
More info: This is a hardy herbaceous perennial plant which is native to Europe. It attracts butterflies and bees, in summer, dense terminal spikes of violet-blue flowers rise above the foliage to 24'' tall. This is also a fragrant plant.
There is no serious disease for this plant probably some susceptibility to powdery mildew, leaf spot and rust
It might be white fly and scale occasionally.
Garden use includes perennial borders, beds, cottage gardens, butterfly hardens, wild garden.
Exposure: Sun, semi-shade.
