Family name: Lamiaceae
Common name: germander
More info: It is a deciduous perennial in cold areas and herbaceous perennial in warmer areas.
Habit: clumps, bushy
It has funny smell, very aromatic flowers
Other features: it grows in a shady position, near to trees or in a position with morning sun only but are denser and more free-flowering in full sun
Landscape uses: natural gardens, woodland edges, rock gardens. It is attractive to bees and butterflies
